Run Santa Barbara

Run Santa Barbara

I watched SUAR video on where she lives and trains and it occurred to me, maybe you Reader, have no idea what I’m talking about.  I mean, when I am talking about running.  I mean, when I am talking about WHERE I run.

This Monday, Pilates in the Park will be held at LA MESA park by Lazy Acres 9:30am-10:30am. Bring your mat!

  • Absolutely beautiful! That’s the perfect way to start the day if you ask me. I just may have to “steal” this idea. Except mine won’t be mountains. Just flat as a pancake and all ocean views.

thanks for that – great to hear your beautiful voice and see your smiling face. feels like home :)

  • It was 80 degrees and 100% humidity 6am here on Sunday for my long run. How is 100% humidity even possible? wouldn’t i need gills to breathe? I don’t get it. There may have been some nice scenery around me but I saw nothing of it but the 5 feet of road in front of me…get it done get it done get it done. I will try to imagine those mountains and scenery and what I imagine was nice cool, dry air on my next sweat fest. thanks for rubbing it in.. i mean sharing.

  • Just haaaad to get a pot shot in at Detroit didn’t you? Do you know how desperately the good people there want to restore that city?!?!

Kidding, I do it all the time but always feel bad. Your scenery is much nicer than mine. I’d tape my running routes but I’m pretty sure you’ve seen 7-Eleven and Starbucks before.

Thanks for the reminder about our awesome paradise by the sea! We gotta remember to never take it for granted, right?! 63 minutes up… how fast do you run down the mountain?

Because .... You run for you, against you, but surrounded by friends.
